Schedule

The workshop will take place May 23-25, 2024. It will feature 13 speakers who will give presentations starting at 3pm on Thursday afternoon. The meeting will end on Saturday at noon. Participants are asked to arrive on Thursday and to leave on Saturday. As you will see in the schedule, lunch will be available on Thursday for those arriving early and on Saturday for those who wish it.

Venue

The Workshop will take place at the Evangelische Akademie in Bad Boll. Room and board is provided to all participants.



Directions

The directions below are meant for those of you who are arriving by air to one of the major airports close to Bad Boll and intend to use public transportation to get to the venue.
1. First you need to go from Munich, Frankfurt, or Stuttgart airport to the town of Göppingen by rail (Deutsche Bahn). This may require that you change train as detailed below.
From Munich Airport to Göppingen:
a. Go to Munich Main Station (Hauptbahnhof)
b. From Munich main station, take a (direct) train to Göppingen.
From Frankfurt Airport to Göppingen:
a. Go to the long-distance train station inside the airport (Frankfurt Flughafen Fernbahnhof).
b. At the ticket counter, ask for an ICE train ticket to Göppingen via Stuttgart. You will need to change trains in Stuttgart, and, depending on the train, possibly also in Mannheim.
c. Take a local train from Stuttgart main station to Göppingen.
From Stuttgart Airport to Göppingen:
a. Go to Stuttgart Main Station (Hauptbahnhof).
b.From Stuttgart main station, take a train to Göppingen.
2. Once in Göppingen you have two options:
a. Take a taxi to Ev. Akademie, Akademieweg 11, Bad Boll.
b. Take Bus 20 leaving from the central bus stop in Göppingen (5 minutes walking distance from the station). The bus takes you directly to the venue in about 30min. Exit at the stop called EV Akademie/Reha-Klinik, Boll.
