The final grade of this course will be based on:

two midterm exams (about 40%)
one final exam (about 40%)
homework/quizzes (about 20%)

The exams will consist of problems similar to, but different from the problems/examples in the book and in the lectures.

No late homework and no make-up quizzes, but one lowest homework and one lowest quiz will be dropped.
