Martin Zeman awarded the 2011 Chancellor's Award for Excellence in Fostering Undergraduate Research

05/10/2011 - 12:00am

Martin Zeman, UCI Math Associate Professor, has been designated by the Dean and Associate Dean of the School of Physical Sciences to receive the 2011 Chancellor's Award for Excellence in Fostering Undergraduate Research. One faculty member from each school receives this award. The Chancellor's Award has been presented annually since 1997, and it's purpose is to "recognize the meritorious contributions in support of undergraduate research by one faculty member."

Professor Zeman has been invited to attend the UCI Undergraduate Research Symposium on Saturday May 14th, where he will be formally recognized during the Awards Ceremony and presented with a certificate. Congratulations, Martin!
