Regular Faculty
  • Peter Li, Chancellor's Professor, Differential Geometry and Partial Differential Equations, joined the faculty in 1991.
  • Zhiqin Lu, Professor, Complex Algebraic Geometry and Differential Geometry, joined the faculty in 2000.
  • Chuu-Lian Terng, Advance Chair Professor, Riemannian Geometry, Group Actions, and Soliton equations, joined the faculty in 2004.
Adjunct Faculty
  • Richard Palais, Emeritus Professor at Brandeis, joined the faculty as an adjunct professor in 2004. He organized and chairs the 3D-XplorMath Consortium, a group of mathematicians who are developing mathematical visualization software for teaching and research.
