Prerequisites

The official UCI prerequisites for Math 2E are ``Math 2D or equivalent.'' This amounts to a knowledge of the topics listed here. These prerequisites will be assumed; it is your responsibility to know them. If you are not sure how well you know a topic, a suggested procedure is to open the book on the appropriate section, cover up the solutions to the worked examples, and try to do those examples yourself. You can then check whether you did them correctly.
