Required text: Robert E. Greene and Steven G. Krantz, "Function Theory of One Complex Variable", third edition (additional references will be provided for a few topics not covered by this book).
Grading: Weekly homework 30%, midterm exam 20%, final exam 50%.
Collaboration Policy: You may discuss homework problems with other students, but solutions should be written up individually in your own words.
Homework 2 (Due January 30 in class): Chapter 6, problems 12, 26; Chapter 7, problem 75; Chapter 11, problems 15, 16.
Homework 3 (Due February 6 in class): Chapter 7, problems 11, 12, 14, 19, 23.
Homework 4 (Due February 20 in class): Chapter 7, problems 26, 30, 31, 39, 40.
Homework 5 (Due February 27 in class): Chapter 7, problems 41, 42 (consider only continuous subharmonic functions), 61, 65, 69.
Homework 6 (Due March 5 in class): Chapter 8, problems 1, 3, 4, 5, 7.
Homework 7 (Due March 12 in class): Chapter 8, problems 10, 11, 13, 14, 21.
