Grading:    Weekly homework 40%, midterm exam 20%, final exam 40%.

Homework and exams:    Homework problems will be assigned every Thursday. These assignments will be turned in the following Thursday at the beginning of the discussion section. No late assignments will be accepted, but the lowest homework score will be dropped. There will be one midterm and one final exam. The exams are “closed book”- no books, notes, or phones.
