Welcome!
Hello! I'm Adam Larios. Welcome to my website. I am a Ph.D. student at the University of
California-Irvine, and I expect to complete my Ph.D. in
June 2011. I am studying partial differential equaitons, and my work focuses on mathematical fluid dynamics. My advisor is Professor Edriss S. Titi, and I also work closely with several excellent collaborators at the Los Alamos National Lab. I am a part of the COSIM and CCS group there.

Ubuntu Linux Linux is a kernel for many operating systems and is similar to Unix. Many people around the world use it for its power and vesatility. I have been using Ubuntu Linux as my sole operating system for over a year. Ubuntu Linux is perhaps the easist way to start using Linux, and will probably be the most comfortable way for Windows or Mac users to try Linux.
